United Airlines Embargoes Adult French Bulldogs

United Airlines is revising the current policy regarding “Special Breed Handling Restrictions” which will go into effect April 15th.The French Bulldog breed and “mixed” varieties of this breed are now added to our current year-round embargo policy.


Animal Shipping Service will have the following posted about transporting French Bulldogs:

United Airlines DOES NOT accept English Bulldogs, Olde English Bulldogge, French Bulldogs or “mixed” varieties of this breed after they have reached 20lbs. or 6 months of age (whichever comes first) at any time of the year. The adults of this breed are completely embargoed.


United Airlines Announces San Francisco SFO to Paris France Charles de Gaulle Airport CDG

Beginning April 26, 2013 United Cargo is proud to offer new daily non-stop service between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG) in Paris France. With this new Boeing 767 widebody service we can serve your shipping needs to more destinations in Europe than any other U.S. carrier. In addition, our SFO hub provides convenient connections to and from destinations across North America.

The new Paris flight will augment United’s ongoing investment in air service at SFO. This year, the airline will operate more than 300 flights daily from SFO, more than any other airline and more than 8% more departures from SFO compared to 2011. United Airlines and United Express operate an average of 5,605 flights a day to 375 airports on six continents from our hubs in Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Guam, Houston, Los Angeles, New York/Newark, San Francisco, Tokyo and Washington, D.C. and other cities such as DFW Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. United Cargo is pleased to offer EXP and GEN freight services in addition to PetSafe, UASecure, QuickPak, TrustUA and TempControl on our flights between San Francisco and Paris. United Airlines Cargo Restrictions Lifted in CLE and ORD; Extended in IAD

The late winter blizzard that affected the Upper Midwest region of the U.S. Tuesday has moved east, and the storm’s most significant impact is now being felt in the Mid-Atlantic region – including United’s hub at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).  United Cargo’s restrictions on the transfer of certain products and commodities through Cleveland Hopkins International Airport CLE and Chicago O’hare International Airport ORD have been lifted. The restriction on transfers through IAD remains in effect until 10:00a.m. Thursday, March 7.


Details of the restriction: United Cargo is restricting the transferof the following products, services and commodities: oEXP, PetSafe, QuickPak, QuickPak International, TempControl, UASecure, TrustUA, all perishable shipments and domestic and international mail on flights.


This transfer restriction is effective for flights scheduled to depart or arrive IAD from 00:01 a.m. Wednesday, March 6 through 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7. Please note that United Cargo will continue to accept non-perishable GEN shipments transferring through IAD during the period. We will also continue to accept shipments originating in or destined toIAD, and we will transport these shipments on operating flights.
